“…The RICYT led the production of the Bogotá Manual, developing the first guidelines for the application of IS in LAC countries, and has played a coordinator role between innovation data producers in the region. The IDB has played a significant role by producing and disseminating good practices, providing technical assistance and financing IS in the LAC region, and by promoting the use of data by researchers and policymakers (Anlló et al, 2014;González Olmos, 2012;Guillard and Salazar, 2017).
