“…Finally, with respect to social support at work and job satisfaction, the majority of oncology nurses reported that the relationship with their colleagues and supervisors was good and that they were satisfied with their current work. In keeping with the findings reported by Hori et al (2020), the results in this study show that social support and job satisfaction are significantly correlated with the beliefs and attitudes of nurses. Therefore, to promote more positive attitudes and beliefs, these factors should be strengthened (Naef, Kaeppeli, et al, 2020; Naef, Kläusler-Troxler, et al, 2020).…”

“…Stepwise multiple regression analyses revealed that better competence in working with families and greater job satisfaction are the greatest attribution to more positive of the total FINC‐NA and its domains (i.e., Fam‐RNC, Fam‐CP, Fam‐B, and Fam‐OR). MHNs who felt competent to work with families and satisfied with their jobs were supportive of including families in nursing care across all domains, which is consistent with earlier findings among nurses in medical care (Gusdal et al, 2017; Hori et al, 2020). Alternatively, significant impediments to family engagement for patients with mental illness pertain to practical concerns about insufficient competence in carrying out family nursing practice, restricted access to training and supervision, or work environment (Hansson et al, 2022; Landeweer et al, 2017).…”

“…Job satisfaction, a motivating attribute, is related to greater quality of patient care (Bru‐Luna et al, 2022). Hori et al (2020) revealed that nurses with greater job satisfaction express more positive attitudes towards the importance of involving families in care. Lin et al (2020) articulated that job satisfaction of MHNs is associated with quality of work environment (e.g., professional specialization and teamwork).…”
