Abstract:Bacterial Mn(II) oxidation is believed to play a dominant role in accelerating the rate of Mn biomineralization in nature. Commonly, bacteria adopt two ways concerning Mn(II) oxidases and reactive oxygen species to oxidize Mn(II).
