Abstract:Following Craw, Maclagan, Thomas and Nakamura's work [Nak01],[CMT07b] on Hilbert schemes for abelian groups, we give an explicit description of the Hilb G C 3 scheme for G = diag(ε, ε a , ε r−a ) by a classification of all G−sets. We describe how the combinatorial properties of the fan of Hilb G C 3 relates to the Euclidean algorithm.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
