The Game Simulation of “The Belt and Road” Economic and Trade Network Based on the Asymmetric QRE Model

Abstract: This paper introduces the asymmetric Quantal Response Equilibria (QRE) network game model to explain the influencing factors on the cooperative behavior of "The Belt and Road" countries. The findings suggest that the belief in the sensitivity to own payoff and counterparts, the reward for cooperation by neighbor nodes, the trade facilitation index, and the reduction rate of tariffs were incorporated to have a significant impact on the Belt and Road cooperation. Our findings provide important policy references … Show more

“…In the initial state, the negative correlation is not obvious. However, in the range of (8,20), overall, the negative correlation between the value of q and the position of the curve is valid. Specifically, the smaller the q value is, the higher the position of the curve represented is, and the greater the f(c) is although the curves represented by different q values fluctuate around the equilibrium value.…”

“…Specifically, f(c) decreases with the increase of e and then decreases to 0 after e increases to 30. In the range of (0,10), (10,20), and (20,30), the rate of declining of f(c) decreases in turn.…”

“…To date, a few studies on natural resource trade have focused on a limited number of countries and products [23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30], but a systematic exploration of global scope is lacking. For example, the research into trade networks has been confined to local areas and organizations, such as the Belt and Road trade network [29][30][31][32][33][34] and North American Free Trade Area (NAFTA) [35][36][37]. International trade issues of specific resources, namely, coal [38][39][40], oil [41,42], scrap metal [6], and natural gas [28], have been investigated in detail.…”
