Abstract

Background: SLE is a chronic autoimmune illness in which numerous variables, including epigenetic, genetic, and environmental factors, interact to determine disease risk. The role of the VEGF single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in SLE patients was assessed in the current study. Aim of The Work: TO determine whether the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) 1154G/A single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) is associated with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) risk & disease activity.
