The genome sequence of the Brown Heath Robberfly, Tolmerus cingulatus (Fabricius, 1781)
Ryan Mitchell
Abstract:We present a genome assembly from an individual male Tolmerus cingulatus (Brown Heath Robberfly; Arthropoda; Insecta; Diptera; Asilidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 280.00 megabases. Most of the assembly (88.86%) is scaffolded into 6 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X and Y sex chromosomes. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 20.2 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 12,047 protein-coding genes.
