The Grain Cleaning Production Lines’ Energysaving Operation Modes of Electromechanical Systems

Abstract: The research was aimed at reducing the power consumption for grain cleaning by using energy-saving modes in the electromechanical systems of grain cleaning units. Specific consumption of active energy per production unit was adopted as a criterion for assessing energy-saving operation modes. The applied method of mathematical experiment planning (MEP) reduced the number of experiments to a minimum to obtain a reliable mathematical model of the research object. To determine the optimal specific power consumptio… Show more

“…The recommended scientifically based standards of electric consumption are intended for departments of economics and planning of regional agricultural administrations to plan and manage electricity consumption for technological processes of grain cleaning on the production lines of grain storage facilities. Similar experimental [45] and theoretical [46] studies have been carried out for the first time by the authors for ZAV-20 and ZAV-25 [47] grain cleaning units, and scientifically based electricity consumption standards have been developed, as confirmed by the certificates of research results implementation. Corresponding studies are also being carried out for other grain cleaning units produced by industry.…”

“…When quantifying the probability of failures, we can start from past events. We should also consider events that have not occurred before (Tanaka et al, 1983, Postnikova et al, 2022. The method that is suitable for assessing causes of critical systems is the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method (Markulik et al, 2021a).…”
