Abstract

1 Electrolytic copper emerged from four processes: (1) the mechanical process of crushing the ore; (2) the hydrometallurgic process of concentrating the ore; (3) the pyrometallurgic process of smelting the ore; and (4) the electrolytic process of refining the metal.
