Abstract:Background/aim: Cerebral vasospasm is a term that refers to prolonged, slowly progressing but reversible pathological narrowing of cerebral arteries occurring several days after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), usually accompanied by a decrease in perfusion distal to the affected artery.
