The Hybridization of Credit Co-Operatives in the Tradition of F.W. Raiffeisen: The Austrian Example

Abstract: The legal purpose of credit co-operatives in Germany and Austria is to promote their members economically. However,legal restrictions prevent them from discriminating between members and non-members. Thus, they have difficulty generating economic benefits for their members.
