The q-Log P Distribution of Classical Algols

Abstract: Data on a large sample (∼400) of candidates for the classical Algol-type eclipsing binary configurations have been collected. The mass-ratio q has been calculated on the assumption of their semi-detached nature, and then compared with corresponding period for some subsets of the sample.
