Abstract:Evolutionary processes of adaptive immunity in Camelidae and some cartilaginous fishes resulted in the concurrent expression of classic heavy-light chain heterotetrameric antibodies together with unconventional heavy chain-only homodimeric antibodies of the IgG class.
