“…Continuous care ( Huang et al, 2022c ) refers to medical caregivers helping patients transition from an acute to a subacute phase of the disease management in a timely and effective manner, and to patients enjoying relevant care at home after discharge ( Bradt et al, 2016 ). Kim and Yoon (2022) suggested that patients’ needs are related to support for treatment-related somatic symptoms (e.g., fatigue, pain, nausea, and vomiting), emotional problems (e.g., fear of relapse, anxiety, and depression), and social problems (e.g., lack of support from family, society, and caregivers) ( Zhang et al, 2016 ; Halemani et al, 2022 ). At present, there are few researches on continuity of cancer care during the COVID-19 pandemic.…”

“…39 Initiation of EEN could alleviate or reverse the catabolic state and prevent intestinal villi atrophy and impairment of gut immune function. [40][41][42] A recent meta-analysis inferred that EEN initiated within 24 hours of ICU admission reduced the mortality rate compared with initiating enteral nutrition after 24 hours. 43 However, a meta-analysis by the Cochrane organization inferred the available evidence to be of very low quality, leading to uncertainty as to whether EEN, compared with LEN, affects the risk of mortality, feed intolerance, and GI complications.…”

“…Therefore, the administration needs to be updated and compliant with the BLS training programme for school teachers and nurses should also take an active role while implementing this programme. 19,20 This study recommended conducting further studies in large populations, especially in rural areas.
