Abstract: Amyloid aggregation of α-synuclein (αSN) protein amplifies the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases (NDs) such as Parkinson’s disease (PD). Consequently, blocking aggregation or redirecting self-assembly to less toxic aggregates could be therapeutic.
