The impact of interconnections on reliability contribution of wind farms

Abstract: Abstract-This paper studies reliability benefits of wind energy in two different systems in Australia: New South Wales and Victoria. Reliability assessment has been conducted in generation system level and a time dependent clustering method is applied to model wind power.
