Parenting attitudes have also been categorized in varying ways: as authoritarian, democratic and permissive by Bakhla, Sinha, Sharan, Binay, Verma and Chaudhury (2013); as authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, ethnic-minority, indifferent and inconsistent by Maccoby and Martin (1983); and as authoritative, directorial, permissive, democratic, goodenough and disengaged by Baumrind, Larzelere and Owens (2010).…”
