The impact of quantized magnetic pressure on the stimulated Brillouin scattering of electromagnetic waves

Ch Rozina,
A Maroosh,
S Poedts
et al.

Abstract: Within the framework of Landau quantization theory of Fermi gas, we formulate here the exotic physics of magnetic stimulated Brillouin scattering instability (MSBS) arising due to the nonlinear interaction of high frequency electromagnetic waves (EMWs) with degenerate, strongly magnetized electron-ion plasma. Quantum magneto hydrodynamic model (QMHD) is followed to develop the basic differential equations of quantized magnetosonic waves (QMWs) in the presence of super strong magnetic (SSH) field, whereas Maxwe… Show more

“…The study of electromagnetic wave propagation through plasma is definitely significant for fundamental understanding. However, this particular research has a wide range of applications in fusion research, laserplasma interaction, radio-astronomy, space research, plasma accelerator, and so on [56][57][58][59][60][61][62][63][64][65]. Based on the theory described here, an experimental design might be proposed to observe the coupling between em wave and electron acoustic wave.…”
