A tidal flood early warning system is crucial to minimize the impact and loss in tidal flood-prone areas. This research proposes an instrumentation and information system for tidal flood early warning monitoring by optimizing tidal data in the local area. The efficiency of the instrumentation depends on the accuracy of the sensors installed. This research presents the testing and application of The A01NYUB ultrasonic sensor with The ESP32S2 microcontroller for real-time technology-based water level monitoring and The Internet of Things concept. The collected sensor data is analyzed with an algorithm that has also been proposed in this research. The results show that the ultrasonic sensors can provide a reliable and adequate tide monitoring scheme with an accuracy of RMSE value of 0.08943 and bias value of – 2×10−16. The developed system provides early warning when the sea level reaches 260-280 cm with the MSL datum reference value range of -20 cm to 40 cm. The system has been tested at the Fisherman Boat Harbor, Tambakrejo, Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. The test has shown the system’s accuracy and has proven that the developed system will help minimize the impact of the tidal flood disaster.

Kerupuk ikan adalah salah satu makanan ringan yang sangat populer di Indonesia. Proses produksi kerupuk ikan biasanya melibatkan beberapa tahap yang membutuhkan energi panas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tentang pemanfaatan energi panas dalam meningkatkan proses produksi kerupuk ikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Energi panas dapat digunakan dalam beberapa tahap produksi kerupuk ikan, mulai dari tahap penggilingan hingga tahap pengeringan. Salah satu cara utama untuk memanfaatkan energi panas adalah dengan menggunakan mesin pengering atau oven. Mesin pengering ini akan menghasilkan panas yang cukup tinggi untuk mengeringkan kerupuk ikan secara cepat dan efisien. Selain itu, energi panas juga dapat dimanfaatkan dalam tahap penggilingan bahan baku kerupuk ikan. Proses penggilingan yang membutuhkan panas tinggi dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan mesin penggiling yang dilengkapi dengan pemanas. Pemanfaatan energi panas dalam tahap ini akan membantu menghancurkan bahan baku kerupuk ikan menjadi ukuran yang lebih kecil dengan lebih efisien.

Coastal flooding is one of the disasters that regularly occur in Indonesia, especially in coastal areas. Like other disasters such as earthquakes and mountain eruptions, the coastal flooding disaster has an unfavorable psychological impact on disaster survivors. However, it is not yet known for certain the impact of coastal flooding on the psychological survivors and the help needed by them. The purpose of this study was to analyze the psychological needs of coastal flooding disaster survivors and formulate the recommended psychological help. The research method used a cross-sectional survey. The instrument used is the Harvard Trauma Questionnaire (HTQ) with 25 items and four aspects which include: (1) A picture of the trauma experienced by survivors; (2) Subjective descriptions of the most severe traumas; (3) Events related to head injuries; and (4) Symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Questionnaires were distributed to 122 high school students who were affected by the coastal flooding. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive statistic, which is by using the help of the SPSS 25 application. The results showed that the level of stress caused by tidal flooding was 42.8% and depression was 39.%. Based on gender, women have a higher level of depression than men. Recommendations for psychological assistance are creative counseling which includes music, bibliotherapy, and cinematherapy.
