The Impact of Seasonality on the Using of Accommodation Capacity in Operation in Romania

Abstract

Foraccommodationserviceprovidersoneofthemainobjectivesistoobtainandmaintainahigher degreeofusingofaccommodationcapacityinoperation.Basedontheseconsiderations,thepaper analyzestheevolutionoftheindexofutilizationoftheaccommodationcapacityinoperationinthe developmentregionsofRomaniaforaperiodofsixyearsinordertorevealsimilaritiesanddisparities betweenthem.Forthispurpose,besidestheanalysisofthedevelopmentsoftheindexofutilization oftheaccommodationcapacityinoperation,theevolutionofdispersionspreadingisalsoanalyzed. Boththevariabilityamplitudesofthetwomainindicatorsandtheirtrendareanalyzed.Theconclusion ofthestudyisthefactthatinRomania,thedispersionoftheindexoftheuseoftheaccommodation capacityinoperationhadanincreasingtrend,whichmeansthatintermsoftheratiobetweendemand andsupplyofaccommodation,thedisparitiesbetweendevelopmentregionscontinuetogrowwith allthenegativeimplicationsontheperformanceofthetourismindustryinRomania.
