The impact of the educational marriage-matching model on the household income gap

Abstract: Education has become one of the important selection criteria for homogeneous marriage. The proportion of educational homogeneous marriage in China's marriage market is increasing. The inequality of family income is closely related to the educational background of family members. The article is based on the Chinese General Social Survey (CGSS) data.
