Abstract:The aim of this study is to quantify the impact of information and communication technologies (ICT) and its technological updates on the success of the green supply chain (GSC) implementation, as well as the benefits this affords. This research is applied to the Mexican maquiladora export industry. A model of structural equations is presented to know the importance of the integration of ICT, combined with the implementation of GSC and the generation of benefits with the use of ICT. The results indicate that there is a direct, positive effect (PE) and significant among the four latent variables (LTV) analyzed but the most noteworthy is the indirect effect that the variable updating the ICT has on the benefits of GSC, through the variable mediators' implementation of a GSC, since the direct effect of updating the ICT on the benefits of the implementation of GSC does not become significant. Whereby, it is recommended that the industry integrates and updates its ICT since, using the integrated and updated ICT and the implementation of a GSC, a series of economic, productive and environmental benefits will be created.

Abstract:In recent years, reverse logistics (RL) practices have been perceived a great recognition among researchers/practitioners. In this paper, we intend to identify and prioritise the critical factors (CFs) in implementing the RL practices, from the industrial viewpoint. There are 13 CFs crucial in accomplishing the RL practices were recognised on the basis of critical review Identify and prioritise the CFs in implementing the RL practices 43of literature and experts opinion. These finalised 13 CFs were then analysed to determine their priority by means of analytical hierarchy process (AHP) technique. The AHP technique assists in determining the relative importance of the identified RL implementation critical factors. The findings of the work may help managers to address the related issues in RL implementation. Inputs needed to carry out this research work are taken from an Indian automotive components manufacturing company. The results of the study may help researchers/practitioners to prioritise their efforts to implement RL practices in effective manner. This article assesses the impact of human resources skills on production quality, flexibility, and economic performance of La Rioja's wine supply chain. These four elements were integrated as latent variables composed of 15 observed variables and associated through six hypotheses. Data were gathered from 64 wineries located in La Rioja, Spain, and hypotheses were validated in a structural equation model using WarpPLS v.5 software. Results indicate that human resources skills have a positive direct impact on SC flexibility and quality, but not on economic performance; however, these variables are indirectly associated through SC quality and SC flexibility.Keywords: Supply chain, flexibility, quality, economic performance, structural equation model, human resources. RESUMENEl objetivo de este artículo es analizar el impacto de las habilidades de los recursos humanos en la calidad obtenida en el proceso de producción, la flexibilidad y el desempeño económico de la cadena de suministro del vino en La Rioja (España). Estos elementos fueron analizados como variables latentes, en las que se integraron 15 variables observadas. Asimismo, seis hipótesis fueron planteadas para relacionar estas variables en un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales, y fueron probadas usando mínimos cuadrados parciales en el software WarpPLS v.5. Los datos fueron obtenidos de 64 empresas vitivinícolas ubicadas en La Rioja, España. Los resultados indicaron que las capacidades de los recursos humanos tienen un impacto directo y positivo en la flexibilidad y la calidad de la cadena de suministro, pero no en el desempeño económico de la misma; sin embargo, el efecto indirecto es obtenido a través de la calidad y la flexibilidad.Palabras clave: Cadena de suministro, flexibilidad, calidad, desempeño económico, modelo de ecuaciones estructurales, recursos humanos.
