The Importance of Acculturation in Understanding Research with Hispanic-Americans

Abstract: This article provides a brief review of empirical studies that have addressed the role of acculturation across a variety of psychosocial variables (ie., family socialization, social-support networks, alcoholism, and psychosocial adjustment).
