The improvement and analysis of the high‐pressure propane recovery process

Abstract: The recovery of propane from high‐pressure natural gas is an effective approach to increasing the economic benefits of the gas field. Currently, the high‐pressure absorber (HPA) process is the most common process available for recovering high‐pressure natural gas liquid. We have proposed two improved processes based on the HPA process for propane recovery from high‐pressure natural gas: revised HPA and HPA recycle liquid (HPARL) processes. Through the optimization algorithm, the three processes were optimized … Show more

“…However, only one kind of natural gas composition is used for simulation research under a specific working condition in this paper, and no instructive law can be obtained. Jiang et al 12 analyzed the high‐pressure propane recovery process and its improved process using the comprehensive energy consumption calculation method. Under the condition that the propane recovery rate exceeds 99%, the effects of deethanizer pressure and feed pressure on the process energy consumption were studied.…”

“…This work aims to help the company in improving the quality and productivity of the paper manufacturing process. Furthermore, process improvement through waste management and valuable material recovery can make the manufacturing process environmentally friendly with very less ecological damage . The formulation of the above‐stated problem along with data description is presented in Section‐4.…”
