Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis secara empiris pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru yang dimediasi work enggamenet. Analisis ini menggunakan variabel independent yaitu kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja. Variabel dependennya adalah kinerja guru. Variabel mediasi penelitian ini work engagement (keterikatan kerja). Sampel penelitian ini adalah guru SMAN 10 Banjarmasin. Metode pengambilan sampel adalah survei sampling dimana seluruh populasi menjadi sampel pada penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner disebar langsung ke guru SMAN 10 Banjarmasi sebanyak 56 kuesioner. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuh hipotesis dengan analisis SEM dan menggunakan metode analisis PLS. Hasil menunjukan bahwa semua variabel baik kepemimpinan dan motivasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru melalui work engagement.

Sugar is one of the staple food commodities that has an important role in the Indonesian economy. The high demand for domestic sugar has resulted in the inability of sugar factories to meet the demand for sugar consumption because domestic sugar production is still low. This is due to decreased land area and productivity, low sugar yield rates, and low factory efficiency. This paper describes the improvement of sugarcane cultivation to the process of making sugar to support national consumption. The article uses a systematic review method on the latest sugarcane research and reports the conditions directly on the plantation. The results show that the existing sugarcane supply is still less than the factory's demand, so the factory worked inefficiently. Even though the factory has new machines and technology to produce good quality sugar with a capacity of 4,600 TCD, companies can take a coaching approach to the surrounding community to carry out sugarcane cultivation and provide financial support to the surrounding community. Based on the reality of low production and factory efficiency, the government needs to support the sugarcane cultivation system through farming production systems, improving factory machine capacity and labor for sugarcane estate in the global market era.

Coconut is one of the key plantation commodities in the Mempawah Regency that needs to be developed. This is necessary in order to increase the income of coconut sugar craftsmen and also allow them gain knowledge of the industrial scale through feasibility studies on the agro-industry. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the structure of production cost and operating income as well as the feasibility of the coconut sugar agro-industry. This analysis is important for craftsmen in the regency that engage in the continuous production of coconut sugar. Furthermore, this study was conducted in Mempawah Regency with 34 coconut farmers. The analysis of the R/C ratio and Break-Even Point (BEP) was used to determine the indicator of financial feasibility. The result revealed that the average production cost needed by the agro-industry was 7,659,868 IDR month-1 and the generated income was 3,483,132 IDR month-1. Additionally, the coconut sugar agro-industry was financially feasible as the obtained R/C ratio was 1.45. The BEP of production volume and Cost of Good Solds (COGS) was 346 kg and 9,814.92 IDR which is less than the actual production volume and price. It was suggested that craftsmen of coconut sugar produce more than 346 kg of sugar per month with a selling price above 9,814.92 IDR kg-1 in order to obtain profit.
