The Influence of Degree of Polymerization on Precursor-Derived Si-B-C-N Ceramics

Abstract: Precursor derived Si-B-C-N ceramic is a kind of amorphous materials with high hardness, low density, durability at extremely high temperature. The materials show a great potential to be used in the field of the Thermal Protective System (TPS). The physical states and chemical properties of the amorphous materials greatly depend on the starting materials. The effect of degree of polymerization (DP) of the precursor on the pyrolysis process and the characteristics of the amorphous Si-B-C-N materials are studied.… Show more

“…The polyureas of which the hard segment was about 60% was soft rubber material with certain strength and good elastic. Compared with polyureas based on PAE-b and PAE-c which had similar content of hard segment, the flexibility of polyureas based on PAE-f was better [7,8]…”

“…Oxaliplatin is involved in the treatment of a variety of cancers including glioma 6 . However, the heterogeneous and highly infiltrative nature of tumor cells resulting from their biological complexity often reduce the effect of platinum complexes to less than expected 7 8 9 . During the past decades, genetic changes, molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways in glioma have been widely studied, laying a solid foundation for the search for new therapies.…”
