The Influence of Government’s Economic Management Strategies on the Prefabricated Buildings Promoting Policies: Analysis of Quadripartite Evolutionary Game

Abstract: As an efficient measure to protect the environment and reduce energy consumption, promoting prefabricated buildings can lead to the sustainable development of the world economy and long-term economic benefits for society. Nevertheless, for China, it is immature because of the high cost and difficulties in the promotion. The government’s strategies in economy and management are crucial to promoting prefabricated building policies. This paper establishes a quadripartite evolutionary game model composed of constr… Show more

“…In nations like Egypt, the majority of the biggest projects are government-driven, so government pushing PC usage will raise PC percentage utilization and assist PC vendors' ability to bid and take part in more projects. In 2005, 35% of new homes in the UK were prefabricated structures, thanks to government grants and public funding that encouraged the usage of these structures (Song et al, 2021). Another instance is when, for the third time, Singapore promoted the prefabrication project policy.…”

“…For example, a worker has insufficient knowledge about construction phase reports when answering questions, and most of the workers in the construction team have this situation; then it can be inferred that the construction is in poor quality. The root of this can be found to be a hidden line of conflict of interest between the worker, the construction unit, and the regulator [ 47 ]. The quality of training of the group can thus be screened to identify more hidden dangers that affect the economy and safety of engineering under the policy of industrializing worker training process.…”

“…The validity of the game theory is then verified by means of empirical analysis, so as to provide a reference for the relevant departments to promote the large-scale development of prefabricated, assembled houses. Song et al [23] established a four-party evolutionary game model consisting of construction units, real estate developers, home buyers, and government departments under the government regulatory system by analyzing the entire interest chain of prefabricated construction projects. The aim is to study the influence of government management and economic strategies on policies to promote prefabricated buildings.…”
