Abstract:In this article, the authors present the cooling influence in ultrasonic field on the mechanical properties of a dual-phase steel with 0.09% C and 1.90% Mn obtained by intercritical quenching. The heat treatment consisted of heating to 740°C, maintaining for 30 minutes and then cooling in water and water in ultrasonic field. Mechanical properties have been highlighted through universal hardness testing; were determined: Martens hardness (HM), Martens hardness from the slope of the increasing force/indentation … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
