Abstract:Introduction
Neuropeptide Y is a neurotransmitter in the nervous system and belongs to the orexigenic system that increases appetite. Its excessive secretion leads to obesity. Leptin is a pro-inflammatory adipokine (produced in adipose tissue) induced in obesity and may mediate increased antitumor immunity in obesity (including the promotion of M1 macrophages).
