Abstract:Background: The cultivation of red spinach in urban farming is expected to meet the needs of people in urban areas for vegetable consumption. It is feared that using contaminated river water for irrigation will reduce the nutritional value of spinach plants. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of water filtration on the nutritional content of Red Spinach plants (Amaranthus tricolor L).
