“…Since the 1940s, thermosetting epoxy resin composite foam (ERCF) has been manufactured, due to its heat stability, chemical resistance, electrical properties, mechanical properties, [1][2][3] shock-absorbing and insulating properties brought about by foaming, it is widely applied in fields such as electronic packaging, construction engineering, floating on the sea, and aerospace. [4][5][6] At present, the preparation methods of thermosetting ERCF are mainly focused on the chemical foaming method, physical foaming way, and hollow microspherefilled foaming strategy.
