Abstract:The effect on the survival of the yeast S. cerevisiae of mixtures of diesel fuel (summer variety) with four representatives of different classes of surfactants – cationic (cetyltrimethylammonium bromide), anionic (sodium dodecyl sulfate), nonionic (Tween-80) and polymeric (polyvinyl alcohol) – was studied.
