Fossil resources are the foundation of the global economy. However, the extraction, transportation and consumption of this energy source are harmful to the environment. Economic reasons and the search for new solutions based on energy recovery have generated a growing interest in adsorption technology. In recent decades, the number of studies on adsorption refrigeration systems has increased significantly, because, unlike vapor compression refrigeration units, they cause less harm to the environment.
