The intersection of pharmacology and dentistry: A comprehensive overview of pharmacotherapeutics

Abstract: Pharmacotherapy is an essential component of dental practice to manage pain, prevent infections, and maintain oral health. Analgesics such as non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and opioids are commonly used to manage pain during and after dental procedures.
