The intracellular domain of Hyaluronan synthase can produce monodisperse low- molecular weight hyaluronic acid with functional activity

Abstract: Background: The biological properties of hyaluronan (HA) are determined by its molecular weight (MW). Most natural extraction process of HA resulted in a polydisperse polymer.
