The present article aimed to analyze the academic repercussion regarding publications dealing with ISO 30401:2018, through an integrative literature review. The objectives were to identify: (i) aspects addressed in research on ISO 30401:2018; (ii) whether the research falls into theoretical or empirical studies; (iii) barriers or facilitators in its implementation; and (iv) relationships between articles and other Knowledge Management concepts. Most research was categorized as theoretical, and among the main converging points in the publications were: Universality of Application, Continuous Improvement Cycle, Integration with other Management Systems, Knowledge Management Culture, and Maturity Models. A challenge to implementation was noted as the norm providing requirements but lacking implementation details, while facilitators included knowledge management culture coupled with leadership roles, as well as the universality of ISO. Relating the aspects covered in the articles to other Knowledge Management concepts, we find Innovation and Competitive Advantage.
