Abstract:This qualitative paper contrasts the Macedonian and the English language grammatical systems, i.e., their morphological and syntactic features in order to determine those which cause frequent difficulties for the Macedonian EFL learners and speakers. The sample represents formal descriptions of some features of the ML and EL grammatical systems as conventionalized in their reference grammars respectively.
