Abstract: IN the previous articles the lateral stability of an aircraft has been considered mainly from an analytically qualitative and quantitive point of view, without any particular emphasis on the physical aspect of the nature of the disturbed motion. It is now proposed to discuss the possible types of motion in greater detail, always bearing in mind the analytical basis upon which the descriptions are founded.
