This study aims to examine the mediating role of organizational happiness in the relationship between teachers' work engagement and life satisfaction. The study involved 767 teachers, 557 women (73%) and 210 men (27%). Data from the study were collected using the Work Engagement Scale, the Organisational Happiness Scale, and the Life Satisfaction Scale. Descriptive statistics, Pearson product moment correlation coefficient, path analysis and bootstrapping procedure were used in the analysis of the data to test the significance of the mediating effect. As a result of the study, it was found that there is a significant positive relationship between work engagement, organizational happiness and life satisfaction. The bootstrapping result showed that organizational happiness has a partially mediating role in the relationship between work engagement and life satisfaction. It is thought that the results obtained can be used to increase the life satisfaction of teachers. In addition, it can be said that the results obtained from the research will be a guide for future studies.

The aim of this research was to describe the psychosocial traits of preschool teachers and to investigate the correlations between these traits. Designed according to the relational screening method, participants in this research comprised 102 teachers working in independent preschools and preschool classes linked to primary schools in Canakkale province. To collect psychosocial data, the research used a personal information form, semi-structured interview form, the Empathic Tendency Scale, Ways of Coping Questionnaire, Satisfaction with Life Scale, Burnout Measures– Short Form and Self-Efficacy Scale. Findings obtained in the research showed that having a model (teacher, friend and family) was more effective than other factors in preschool teachers choosing this profession. Nearly, half of the teachers (49%) stated they would choose preschool teaching again if they had the chance, while the remaining teachers stated they would choose a different area of teaching or a different profession (theology, engineering, medicine, etc.). Öğretmenlerin Örgütsel Stres ile İşe Yabancılaşma Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi

Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin örgütsel stres ile işe yabancılaşma düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırma, nicel araştırma metotlarından ilişkisel tarama modeliyle tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları, 2022-2023 öğretim yılında Mardin’de kamuya ait ilkokul ve ortaokullarda tabakalı örnekleme metoduyla belirlenen 408 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. İncelemede veri toplama aracı olarak Yıldırım, Taşmektepligil ve Üzüm’ün (2011) Türkçe ’ye uyarlanan “Örgütsel Stres Ölçeği”, Elma’nın (2003) geliştirdiği “İşe Yabancılaşma Ölçeği” ile katılımcılara ait demografik bilgiler formu kullanılmıştır. Ulaşılan bilgiler doğrultusunda, SPSS programı ile yüzde, frekans, aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma değerleri hesaplanmıştır. İki kategorili değişkenler arasında anlamlı farkın olup olmadığını tespit etmek için Bağımsız Gruplar t-Testi, ikiden fazla kategorili değişkenleri karşılaştırmak için Anova, yapılmıştır. Anlamlı fark olan grupların belirlenebilmesi için Post-Hoc (Tukey- LSD) testi, değişkenler arasındaki ilişkinin ortaya konması için de pearson korelasyon analizi ve Regresyon analizi yapılmıştır. İncelemeden elde edilen verilere göre öğretmenlerin örgütsel stres düzeyleri, iş yükü, beceri, karar verme ve sosyal destek boyutlarında alt boyutlarında yüksek seviyededir. Örgütsel stres algı düzeyleri yüksek seviyededir. Örgütsel stresin cinsiyet, branş, öğretmenlik Hizmet süresi değişkenlerine göre anlamlı değişiklikler göstermediği saptanmıştır. İnceleme sonucuna göre öğretmenlerin işe yabancılaşmaları güçsüzlük, anlamsızlık ve yalıtılmışlık alt boyutlarında düşük, okula yabancılaşma alt boyutunda yüksek düzeyedir. Öğretmenlerin toplam işe yabancılaşmaları ise düşük düzeydedir. İşe yabancılaşma düzeyinin; cinsiyet, branş, öğretmenlik Hizmet süresine göre anlamlı bir değişiklik göstermediği tespit edilmiştir. Örgütsel stres ile işe yabancılaşma arasında negatif doğrultuda anlamlı bir korelasyon ilişkisi saptanmıştır. Bulgulara göre öğretmenlerin işe yabancılaşmasının %24’ü örgütsel stresin boyutları tarafından açıklanmaktadır.
