This design case focuses on the development of an alternative to Penn State’s One Button Studio, but with a do-it-yourself mentality and a substantially smaller budget. The development of our one button video kiosk began as a class project but is part of a larger design-based research project. Video production is not something that all faculty, staff, or students are comfortable with. Our one button video kiosk is intended to minimize barriers and concerns with such productions by helping users produce video content as quickly and easily as possible. The case focuses on the design, development, and initial testing of the kiosk. By freely sharing these details, it is the hope of the authors that readers will join the conversation by sharing their revisions or new designs for such kiosks or alternative solutions.

This paper analyzes the influence of a virtual classroom with a lightboard on the pedagogical impact generated in students of two synchronous engineering courses taught during the Covid 19 pandemic. A technology acceptance model analyzed the influence of the virtual classroom with lightboard, the central core of analysis being the students' learning satisfaction. The results show that the ease of receiving the lectures for students, the teacher's chosen methodology, and the support material positively influence the student's learning process. The lightboard supports all these influence factors, being a helpful tool for teachers. Also, in virtual lectures, it is relevant that the student has a good Internet connection, stable power supply, and other elements that allow him/her to participate in all synchronous lectures and develop asynchronous activities.

Since the outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Indonesia, the Government has closed schools and conducting learning from home, which forces universities to use distance education. One alternative is to use videos that have been shown to have a positive effect on student learning, satisfaction, engagement, interest, inspiring, and facilitating problem-solving. There is a new medium known as a "lightboard", which is most often made up of a panel of glass surrounded by LED light that makes the writing luminous and highly visible on the camera. The purpose of this study was to develop a inexpensive and easy-to-develop lightboard media to make nursing practicum video. This study uses research and development methods. The object being developed is a lightboard media to make a practicum video. The results showed that the video made with lightboard as a medium have fulfilled the aspect of simplicity, clarity, convenience, educative, and attractiveness. Lightboards have proven to be effective as a medium for making practical videos that are inexpensive and easy-to-develop. Authors strongly recommends nursing study programs to use lightboards as a medium for making nursing practicum videos. Furthermore, research to test the effectiveness of light board media on other practical materials is recommended.
