The load allocation along the loader axles depending on operating conditions

Abstract: The article presents a kinematic analysis of a front bucket loader with a center pivot frame articulation. Due to the action of external loads, the values of reactions occurring on loader motor and loading axles are determined. The article contains the results of theoretical and experimental researches of the load allocation along the tractor axles on the basis of the cargo mass and the hoisting height. The dependencies of the force allocation along the loader axles are obtained according to the operating cond… Show more

“…Under a certain value for the total wear of the roller and the race edges, such an unfavorable combination of movement ΔS1 and clearances S1max, S1min, S1u may occur, and, as a result, the rotating race will contact and grab the roller of the axle box inner (second) bearing due to the action of high axle loads. Consequently, the rollers of both bearings will be simultaneously rotated at an angle φ1, that can violate "immobility" of the connection of the outer races in the axle box body [10].…”

“…The flange height of the optimal bearing is 7.5 mm. Thus, the contact point of the roller and the flange is located at the distance of 0.9 mm from the upper edge [11]. In order to put down the contact point, the angle β should be increased.…”
