Abstract:The application of the local polynomial splines to the solution of integro-differential equations was regarded in the author’s previous papers. In a recent paper, we introduced the application of the local nonpolynomial splines to the solution of integro-differential equations. These splines allow us to approximate functions with a presribed order of approximation. In this paper, we apply the splines to the solution of the integro-differential equations with a smooth kernel. Applying the trigonometric or expon… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
