Abstract:The possibility of manipulating the band gap Eg and nanostructuring of chalcopyrite CuFeS2 by mechanochemical intervention is revealed. The nanostructuring of this mineral is reflected by the amorphization A of its structure.
Possibility to transform PbS in reaction with Bi and S to Pb6Bi2S9 is discovered. Transformation benefits from rapid synthesis performed in a high-energy planetary mill. Synthesis can be promising for the preparation of new thermoelectrics.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
