The meaning of time-resolved Thomson scattering spectrum output from a grating spectrometer

Abstract: Time-resolved spectra are often recorded in optical Thomson scattering experiments of laser-produced plasmas. In this article, the meaning of time-resolved spectrum output from a grating spectrometer is examined.
