The Mental Health of Refugee Children

Abstract: Refugee children are generally considered to be at high risk for mental health problems because of the extreme stressors they experience in the pre- and post-migration periods. This paper summarizes current knowledge on the manifestations of emotional disorder among refugee children and on the associated risk and protective factors.
