This study investigates the potential of the metaverse as a therapeutic platform for individuals with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. Through expert interviews, the research explored the feasibility, challenges, and opportunities of metaverse-based interventions. Findings indicate that the metaverse offers a promising avenue for personalized and immersive therapeutic experiences. However, technical limitations, ethical considerations, and the need for rigorous research emerged as critical factors. The study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on technology-assisted mental health care, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between mental health professionals, technologists, and policymakers in realizing the metaverse's full potential.
