“…Samples of three Brazilian iron meteorites (Nova Olinda, Conceicao do Tocantins, and Augusto Pestana), which have recently been included in the Meteoritical Bulletin Database, were independently analyzed by the proposed LA-ICP-MS method and by solution ICP-MS after iron removal by column chromatography at the University of Alberta. , ICP-MS in solution mode was used for comparison with the proposed LA-ICP-MS. The results obtained by both methods are presented in Table .…”

“…Three Brazilian iron meteorites, Conceicao do Tocantins, Nova Olinda, and Augusto Pestana, featured in both Table 1 and Figure 1, underwent analysis using the newly validated procedure. The chemical composition of these meteorites had initially been determined through a conventional LA-ICP-MS procedure, whose results led to their chemical classification and subsequent inclusion in the Meteoritical Bulletin Database 26 (Table 1).…”

“…The meteorites (Figure 10) were returned as frozen cargo from the field, via the BAS Halley and Rothera research stations, and then as frozen stow on a BAS research ship. he frozen samples were received for preliminary examination and curation at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom (MacArthur, Joy, Harvey, Jones, Evatt, Almeida, Malley, Greenwood, Findlay, & King, 2022) and are in the process of being classified (Gattacceca et al, 2022(Gattacceca et al, , 2023Metoritical Bulletin, 2023). The sample curation and initial analysis are discussed in Joy et al (2021), MacArthur, Joy, Harvey, Jones, Evatt, Almeida, Malley, Greenwood, Findlay, andKing (2022) and MacArthur, and Harvey et al (2023).…”
