Abstract:The outbreak of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) has caused a crisis for Indonesian farmers, particularly dairy cattle in Medowo village. The FMD outbreak affected the whole dairy cow population in Medowo, resulting in major losses defined by high mortality rates and a halt in milk production during the cows' FMD infection.
