The Modern Historiography of the World War II (1941-1945)

Abstract: The article analyzes the historiography of the last two decades of the Great Patriotic War. It is noted that they key problems of historical science have been its further expansion and the theoretical improvement of researches in the field of military history; recreation, based on the scientific analysis of objective, historically truthful picture of the causes, course and the results of the war; identification of sources and patterns of soviet's people victory in the Great Patriotic War.
