Abstract: Breast, prostate, lung as well as colorectal carcinomas belong to leading positions in the world cancer incidence and mortality rankings. They make up about 40 % of newly diagnosed cancers. Connection of these cancers with oncogenic human papilloma viruses (HPVs) is being examined intensively, however it remains subject for discussion.
